The men of Gate City Vineyard are growing into a band of brothers as we come together to serve God, our church, our community, and each other. As with everything in the Kingdom of God, we believe it starts with building healthy relationships. Men need other men in their lives. None of us are meant to go it alone.
As we are told in Ecclesiastes 4: “Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor, for if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion… And if one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart.” We all have strengths and weaknesses, gifts we can offer to help others and areas where we need others’ help.
Together, we can accomplish far more for the Kingdom than any of us can alone.
The focus of our Men’s ministry is on building relationships. We do this through quarterly Men’s breakfasts and other fellowship events, such as hiking, cookouts, restaurant outings, sports events, etc. It starts with relationships, but it doesn’t end there.
Our goal is to help each other grow as followers of Christ and glorify him in our families, work, and contributions to our community. We are planning on developing one or more life groups for men, and we are looking for service opportunities both within our fellowship and beyond the walls of the church.
