Life Groups

The Alpha Course is created to outline the core principles of the Christian faith that all denominations agree on. We believe that what unites us is infinitely greater than what divides us. The Alpha Course is an effective form of evangelism as well.

The Alpha Course is a great place to bring all your questions about Christianity and understand the core principles of our faith. 

The men of Gate City Vineyard are growing into a band of brothers as we come together to serve God, our church, our community, and each other. If you are a man and want to join arms with other men for fun, food, fellowship, and service, we invite you to join our brotherhood.

This format may be different from previous groups in that we will simply make a space for reflecting on a few rich verses of Scripture each time we meet. Here’s a sneak preview of how our orchestra practice will be structured:

• 15 minutes casual meet-and-greet. Come for whatever part you would like

• 20 minutes check-in and sharing of “Appreciation moments”

• 20 minutes personal reflection on a particular Scripture passage

• 40+ minutes group sharing.

Forming is a fresh, life-giving approach to Christian growth and development. The 12-week course of video, discussion and interactive exercises, shows you how to engage with God in ways that will change you from the inside out.
